To sync a PS4 controller to a PS4 console, follow these steps:

Ensure that your PS4 console is turned on and functioning properly.

Connect the controller to the PS4 using a USB cable. Use the USB cable that came with the controller or any compatible USB cable.

Plug one end of the USB cable into the controller and the other end into one of the USB ports on the front of the PS4 console.

Press the PS button in the center of the controller to power it on. The light bar on the controller should light up, indicating that it is connected.

The PS4 console will automatically detect the connected controller and sync it. This process usually takes a few seconds.

Once the controller is synced, you can disconnect the USB cable from the controller and the console.

You can now use the controller wirelessly to navigate the PS4 console and play games.

If the controller doesn't sync automatically or if you're having trouble syncing it, you can try the following additional steps:

Make sure the controller is charged. If the battery is low, connect the controller to the PS4 using the USB cable and allow it to charge for a while before attempting to sync again.

Try a different USB cable or USB port on the PS4 console to rule out any potential issues with the cable or port.

Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller near the L2 trigger. Use a small object such as a paperclip or a pin to press and hold the reset button for a few seconds. Then, release the button.

On the PS4 console, go to the "Settings" menu, select "Devices," and then choose "Bluetooth Devices." From there, you can select "Wireless Controller" and choose "Forget Device." Afterward, try the syncing process again as outlined above.
