How to Disconnect PS4 Controller & Connect to Another PS4 Console (Easy Tutorial)
0To disconnect your PS4 controller from one PS4 and connect it to another PS4, follow these steps:
On the PS4 console that the controller is currently connected to, navigate to the "Settings" menu.
Within the "Settings" menu, select "Devices."
From the "Devices" menu, choose "Bluetooth Devices."
You should see a list of Bluetooth devices that are currently connected. Locate your PS4 controller in the list and select it.
Once you've selected the controller, choose the option to "Disconnect" or "Forget Device" to remove it from the console's Bluetooth connections.
Once you've successfully disconnected the controller from the first PS4, turn off the console.
Now, to connect the controller to the second PS4, turn on that console.
On the second PS4, navigate to the "Settings" menu.
Within the "Settings" menu, select "Devices."
From the "Devices" menu, choose "Bluetooth Devices."
Put your PS4 controller into pairing mode by pressing and holding the "PlayStation" button and the "Share" button simultaneously until the light bar on the controller starts flashing.
The second PS4 should now detect the controller and display it in the list of available Bluetooth devices. Select your PS4 controller from the list.
After selecting the controller, it should connect to the second PS4, and the light bar on the controller should stop flashing, indicating a successful connection.
