How to Tune an Ibanez/Floyd Rose Floating Tremolo Bridge
Here’s how to tune a guitar with a double locking floating tremolo bridge. The procedure is to make adjustments one string at a time while revisiting the past adjusted strings to readjust them. As long as you retune each previously tuned string before moving onto a new one, you will be done in no time. While this primarily meant to be a tutorial for Floyd Rose equipped guitars or guitars with similar systems such as the Ibanez Edge, Lo Pro Edge, Gotoh Locking Tremolos, etc., these steps are also helpful for tuning vintage bridges such as a Fender Stratocaster bridge that is set up to be floating - simply skip the fine tuner stage as that style bridge has none.
