hey guys it's the digital tutor here
with another step-by-step tutorial
and in today's video we're going to take
a quick look at how you can turn off
comments on your profile picture so in
other words how you can stop people
commenting on your
uh profile picture and that's on
facebook
so as you can see i'm just on my profile
and
normally what you would do is go here to
this down account
and you would click on settings and
privacy
and then you go to settings
go down on the left you would click onto
privacy here on the menu
but this is more and this is where you
go
but this is more to do with you know
people who can see your posts
who can comment on your posts um but
we're not looking to do that today what
we want to do is just stop people
commenting on our profile picture
so what we do is go back
click onto the profile now it won't work
on the profile pitch you've got uploaded
what you're going to have to do
is upload a your picture and
change it so i'm going to click on my
picture and click on update profile
picture
and then i'm just going to go ahead and
pick a
um a picture that i want to use
so let's go ahead and use this one
directory position i'm going to click
save
just give that a second to save okay so
my profile picture is updated
i'm going to click on view profile
picture
and you'll see up here in the corner
there's a little
kind of picture of the earth of the
globe and it says public if you click
onto that
and you can actually see now it says to
help friends find you your current
profile picture can be seen by everyone
you can decide who should see the other
details like the description likes
all comments so obviously to stop people
seeing the comments and commenting on
your picture
all you simply do is select from here
who you want to see in common so for
example it could be public
which means anyone on or off facebook
can see and comment on your picture
uh it could be friends only which means
only friends that you have added on your
facebook profile will be able to see and
comment on your picture
friends accept which is basically
uh you could say exception so only
certain friends can see
you know specific friends etc etc
