Turning off OK Google and Hey Google is easy and can be done in minutes in your phone settings. This tutorial can turn off OK Google or Hey Google for any Android phone including Samsung, Pixel, Moto, HTC, OnePlus, Huawei, Alcatel, Asus, Nubia, Blu, Acer, Cubot, LG, Lenovo, Nokia, and ZTE.
Follow the steps below to turn off OK Google on your Android phone or tablet:
1. Open the settings on your Android phone or tablet.
2. In the Android settings, find and select Apps and Notifications.
3. Then select Assistant.
4. In Assistant, select Say "Hey Google".
5. Then toggle off the switch next to Hey Google.
6. If you'd like to also disable OK Google / Hey Google in other apps or while driving select Driving Settings in the popup. Ensure Hey Google is turned off and then hit the back button.
7. Select OK on the popup. You have now disabled Hey Google on your Android phone or Tablet.
