How to Turn off Push to Talk for Voice Chat in Sea of Thieves (Easy Tutorial)
2In Sea of Thieves, you can adjust your voice chat settings to either use Push to Talk or have an open microphone. Here’s how:
Push to Talk:
On PC, the default keybind for Push to Talk is Left Alt. You can change this by going to Keyboard and Mouse Settings in the Game Options.
For Xbox, manually set a button for Push to Talk in the Controller Settings menu.
Toggle Option:
There’s also a Toggle option that reduces the need for a held button press while speaking. Simply toggle it on, speak, and then toggle it off1.
Open Microphone:
To keep your microphone always open, turn off Push to Talk in the Audio Settings of the Game Options menu
