How to Turn Off the Talking Voice ONN 4k Streaming Box (Google TV)
To turn off the talking voice or voice narration on an ONN 4K Streaming Box, which is essentially the feature known as "TalkBack" or "Screen Reader" for accessibility, follow these steps:
Using the Remote Control:
Press the Back Button Four Times Quickly:
On some Android TV devices, including ONN, you can quickly turn off TalkBack by pressing the Back button on your remote four times in quick succession. This is a shortcut to toggle the accessibility feature on and off.
Using the Settings Menu:
Access Settings:
Press the Home button on your remote to go to the home screen.
Navigate to Settings.
Go to Accessibility:
Within the settings menu, find and select Accessibility. This might be listed under Device Preferences or directly in the main settings menu.
Turn Off TalkBack or Screen Reader:
Look for an option like TalkBack, Screen Reader, or Voice Guide.
Select this option and you'll see a toggle to turn it off. Make sure it's switched to Off.
Confirm the Change:
If there's no immediate confirmation, you might need to back out of the menu, or in some cases, restart your device for the changes to take effect.
