How to Edit & Change Transition on OBS using PC (Easy Tutorial)
OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a powerful tool for live streaming and recording. Let’s dive into how you can edit and change transitions in OBS on your PC:
Standard Scene Transitions:
By default, OBS rapidly switches between scenes when you transition. However, adding scene transitions can make the switch smoother for viewers.
Open OBS and locate the Scene Transitions panel.
Click the dropdown menu and choose from the available transition types: Cut, Fade, or Swipe.
Adjust the duration of the transition using the slider next to the dropdown menu.
Stinger Transitions:
If you want more personality in your transitions, consider using a stinger. A stinger is a short video (usually 2-5 seconds) that provides a transition between scenes.
To add a stinger:
Click the “+” button in the Scene Transitions panel.
Select Stinger from the dropdown menu and give it a name.
Browse and select your stinger video file.
Adjust the Transition Point timing to ensure smooth transitions between scenes
