To turn on or off closed captions on your PS5 console, follow these steps:

On your PS5’s home screen, click the Settings icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
From the Settings menu, select Accessibility.
In the Accessibility menu, select Closed Captions.
Toggle on Display Closed Captions to turn on closed captions or toggle off to turn them off

If you want to adjust the settings for characters and captions, you can do so by selecting Closed Caption Settings from the same menu
