To turn on text-to-speech in party chat or game on your PS5 console, follow these steps:

Ensure that both controllers are charged and turned on.
Connect your primary controller to the console with a USB cable.
On your PS5’s home screen, click the Settings icon located at the top right corner of the screen.

From the Settings menu, select Accessibility.
In the Accessibility menu, select Chat Transcription.
Toggle on Enable Chat Transcription.

Select your preferred Chat Transcription Language and Voice Type.
Start a chat transcription by pressing and holding the PS button and selecting Start Chat Transcription from the quick menu.
