To use a second controller for assistance on PS5 games, you need to enable the Use Second Controller for Assistance feature on your PS5 console. Here are the steps to do so:

Ensure that both controllers are charged and turned on.
Connect your primary controller to the console with a USB cable.
On your PS5โ€™s home screen, click the Settings icon located at the top right corner of the screen.

From the Settings menu, select Accessibility.
In the Accessibility menu, select Controllers.
Click on Use Second Controller for Assistance.
Toggle on Use Assist Controller.
