If your LG TV is speaking aloud text on the screen, it is likely that the Voice Guide or Screen Reader feature is enabled. To turn off this talking voice, follow these steps:

Steps to Turn Off Voice Guide on LG TV
Press the Settings Button

On your LG remote, press the Settings button (gear icon).
Navigate to Accessibility Settings

Select All Settings - General - Accessibility.
Turn Off Voice Guide

In the Accessibility menu, locate the Voice Guide option.
Set Voice Guide to Off.
