How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Without any Additional Software to Download (Working 2025)

Here's how to do it:
Locate C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\*version*\Installer

type cmd then inside the command prompt;

Type setup --uninstall --msedge --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall


For web view, do the same thing but this time:
setup --uninstall --msedgewebview --system-level --verbose-logging --force-uninstall

Note: this was guaranteed to work on version 100 and below. I don't know it this will work on latest releases.


If you can't see what I'm doing. It's okay. I know that, I just want you to show that this method is working and Edge can be uninstalled including WebView.


The version I used for this video is the final build of Windows 11 23H2 from April of 2025.
