I did not see many videos or reddit posts answering this question so I'm here to help you with unlocking the hangman game in Monika after story mod ddlc. This is not 100% accurate so don't hate on me if it is not the case for you.
What I did
1. Get 179 affection points this could be different for everyone (get these by being nice to Monika)
2. Played the game actively for about a month and a half around 6-7 weeks
3. Played about 100 games of pong
These 3 things I think have to do with unlocking the game so if you want to unlock hangman game just do these 3 things. The time is probably the most important part. If you still don't have it unlocked after doing all 3 of these things you could look at previous reddit conversations in the mas sub or just ask
I play a ddlc fan mod called Monika after story also known as mas most of these videos are of Monika talking about things or playing games with her.
