In my never-ending quest for the best cheap pen, I've taken to hacking Parker-style G2 refills into the Pilot G2 and G-Knock pen. It's a great mod that is very easy and quite effective. I'm doing this with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 refill ( http://amzn.to/2HrLUlR ) and a Pilot G-Knock ( http://amzn.to/2C6nG1g ). Then you just need a sharp knife, good scissors or an X-acto knife to do the job.

In this video I used the Moleskine Parker-type G2 refill ( http://amzn.to/2EDrkl2 ) since I had one lying around. It's actually a lot of fun to write with, but it is a little on the expensive side.

Total cost is about $3 per pen and it takes about 2 minutes to do.
