How To Set DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro as a Webcam On Windows PC / Laptop:

Step 1: Turn on your DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Ensure the battery is adequately charged or connect it to a power source before-hand to avoid interruptions.

Step 2: Use the supplied USB-C to USB-C (or USB-C to USB-A) cable. to connect the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro to your Windows computer.

Open the latch on the camera, below the power button to access the USB-C port.

Step 3: Once connected, the camera should display a prompt asking for the type of USB connection. Quickly select “Webcam” when prompted.

Successful connection should be confirmed by the "Webcam 1080p30" at the bottom of the screen. You should now see your camera feed live in the preview window.

Step 4: Mount the camera securely where you would like and open your video conferencing or streaming software (Camera app, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OBS, Skype, etc.).

Go to Settings and select Video. From the list of available cameras, select DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro or USB Video Device.

For the Windows Camera app, once you launch it, tap on the switch camera option (camera icon) in the top-right corner, to switch from the main Webcam to the Action 5 Pro.
