How To Enable Voice Commands On DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro:
Step 1: Turn on your DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro by pressing the Power button. Wait until the screen fully boots and displays the camera interface.
Step 2: From the home screen, swipe down from the top to open the Quick Settings panel. Then, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to enter the Full Settings Menu.
Step 3: Within the settings menu, scroll through the options until you find "Voice Control". Tap on it.
Step 4: Turn Voice Control toggle switch ON to activate the feature. Make sure your language setting matches your spoken language for better recognition (e.g., English, Chinese, etc.).
You can also swipe down from the camera viewfinder and tap on the Voice Control option (person speaking icon) to turn it ON. It should turn yellow.
Step 5: Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on "Voice Commands" to see the commands that the DJI Action 5 supports.
How To Use Voice Commands On DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro:
Here are the default voice commands supported by the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro:
Start Recording: Begins video recording.
Stop Recording: Stops video recording.
Take Photo: Captures a still image.
Shut Down: Powers off the camera.
Ensure you speak clearly and naturally without shouting. Background noise and wind may affect recognition.
How To Disable Voice Control On DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro:
If you no longer want to use voice commands, go back to Settings and select "Voice Control".
Tap on it and toggle it OFF. This will disable voice listening and reduce battery consumption slightly.
You can also swipe down from the camera viewfinder and tap on the Voice Control option (person speaking icon). It should turn OFF (white).
