How to use GLIDE on a PO-128 Mega Man Pocket Operator - works for PO-28 Robot too!
The unique feature of the Teenage Engineering PO-128 Pocket Operator is the GLIDE button. In this short video I'll demonstrate how to use the GLIDE button while playing live. I'll also show you how to adjust the GLIDE parameters, and add GLIDE UP and GLIDE DOWN effects to your step sequenced notes. The GLIDE feature is a useful tool to add lots of nuanced expression to your chiptune tracks.
The GLIDE controls should work similarly on the PO-28 Robot.
I fully intend to produce my usual types of videos, but occasionally I'll share quick tips from what I've learned via trial and error while working with Pocket Operators and other devices. I hope these quick tips are useful to PO newbies, or for people shopping for their next musical gear purchase.
