How to setup and use OpenDNS in Ubuntu and variants such as Linux Mint or Zorin.

Open Network Manager menu and select Edit Connections
Choose your connection from Wired, Wireless, or Mobile Broadband
Under IPv4 Settings tab
Choose method Automatic (DHCP) Addresses Only. Or Manual if you prefer to have a static IP address
Type in "208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220" into the DNS servers text box.

If you subscribe to OpenDNS you can use Content Filtering to block Adware and Malware sites, it can be used to block Adult and Social Networking sites.

I have set mine up to Block the following High Risk Top Level Domains (TLDs):
.info -- Information
.cc -- Cocos Islands
.ch -- China
.vn -- Vietnam
.cm -- Cameroon
.in -- India
.ru -- Russia
.am -- Armenia
.tk -- Tokelau
.pl -- Poland
.co.be - .co sub-domain in Belgium
.co.tv - .co sub-domain in Tuvalu
