In this video I cover the process of using the crane and shredder found at Junkyard and how it can be used to make easy scrap, HQM, metal and wood returns.

Having recently been added to the game, the shredder has become a go-to way to turn a fairly low-yielding monument, to one of the most efficient per-run to live by, especially for those solo’s, duo’s or trio’s.

I’ll break down the different vehicles that can be scrapped, how to drive and operate the crane and also look at some of the expected resource outputs that you can expect.

I’ll also touch on how you should be collecting resources to allow you to drive a vehicle into junkyard every time you want to do a farming run. These cars are a great way to get HQM and Metal frags as well as Scrap and wood.

Everyone’s wipes are different and a previously overlooked monument could be a really fun way for you to grind your way through the wipe and get your scrap levels up, to match those zergs you have living near by.

It’s good to know flexible ways to adapt your wipe based on the conditions around you, so hopefully this video is helpful in teaching you a new mechanic to take advantage of.
