The HP TouchPad is here and its HP's first WEBOS 3.0 Tablet. The truth is that most people have not been exposed to WebOS 3.0 or WebOS in general. So we decied to give a How to tour on what WebOS is all about. How it works, different ways of manipulating the OS.?
Also looking at some of the built in functionality, with printer support for HP printers, its mutlitasking support and the different UI look of WebOS that incorporates card.
WebOS has some very cool additives that help set it apart from the competition. First is the card frame work, which basically act as a live title representation of an app that shows you what is running within the app without jumping into it. Then the is stacking of cards, which also you to stack an app on top of another to have relevant materials or apps close to each other.
Also multitask is easy, because of the card view you can easily swipe away each card to close the app, no buttons to press. Plus the amount of apps you can have running at once is astonishing on its own. I was able to have 20 apps open at one time
