How to Watch & Save Replays in Fortnite 2025 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox)
27In this tutorial I show you how to watch and save replays in Fortnite. You can use this to watch replays on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox. However, if you're trying to watch and save replays on Switch then it isn't supported. You can save replays in Fortnite by opening the settings and going to the game options. Here you can select the Replays option from the side menu and turn on the Record Replays option.
With record replays enabled your normal games in Fortnite will be saved. However, you can also choose to turn on replays for large team games and creative. While you won't typically need to enable replays for these game modes you can if you want to.
Additionally, there is a setting to record high quality replays. While this option is nice it isn't typically needed. The standard Fortnite replays are high quality and great for most use cases. If you're just trying to watch back your past games then you won't need to enable the option to record high quality replays.
If you don't have the option to record replays then the feature isn't available on your console or platform. This is typically only on portable devices like the Nintendo Switch.
To watch replays in Fortnite you will need to go to the career tab and select replays from the bottom. Here you will see all your past games. Simply select a replay then click the Play button at the bottom to watch back your replay.
Additionally, you can save your replays with a custom name to watch later. To do so select the replay and choose the Rename and Save option. This will allow you to give your replay a new name and save it.
Saved replays can also be played as with any other replays. However, if Fortnite has an update then you will no longer be able to watch any of your old replays. This includes replays you have saved.
