How to win and get MVP with Mantis in Marvel Super War
Hey guys, Eddie the Magic Monk here with another Marvel Super War gameplay plus commentary video. In the last video I used Wolverine to win a team match, which was a hero for close combat, so I thought I would try using a healer this time and see what happens. Even though Mantis is a free starting hero, I thought this character was quite complex, but at the same time very easy to get MVP and help your team win if you know what you're doing.
Mantis has 3 abilities. The first one is a fireball that rebounds off enemies to hit each other. So when you have a group of enemies standing around, this fireball will hit all of them. The cool thing is, once it rebounds off 5 enemies, it will also trigger a heal for your team mates. Other than this, you can also click the second ability which will heal you and your team mates directly. So it basically attacks and heals at the same time.
Mantis's third ability is basically freezing both the opponent and yourself. The difference is you will get 40% damage reduction during the freeze, while your opponent can't move and is at the mercy of your team mates. In a situation where you outnumber your enemy, if you can freeze them they basically have no chance. If your enemies outnumber you however, I would avoid trying to freeze one of them, because you are also stuck.
You will see in this video how I only got 1 kill but still won the match and got MVP. How is that possible? Basically from the 19 assists. Even though I did not get the kills directly, the fireballs did quite a bit of damage to the enemies and I also froze a lot of them while my team mates finished them off. Not to mention all the healing I did which kept my team mates alive.
Hope this video gave you some inspiration to use this character! Gameplay recorded with Google Pixel 4A 5G.
