Chibi Robo anyone? Yes, this game was clearly inspired by that cute and lovely little adventure game on the Wii~
ROTii is both similar and different to that game. Similarly it has a cute tiny robot protagonist, who has to charge up his limited battery and solve puzzles around a big 'ol normal-sized house. Differently, it's a 2D platformer. and exudes its own fashion of puzzle solving and boss fights, as well as its own form of charm.
This game is a bit simple. It has a fair number of levels, and one special optional collectible in each level aside from boss levels - nothing mind-blowing. The story is simple too. But this game has a heck of a lot of charm; level design is downright clever, making good use of the 'small creature in a house' theme with obstacles like embers from a fire, and puzzles like needing to hop on sponges after filling a sink. You can really tell the developers of this thought about what they wanted to design with each level, and made it a lot of fun to go through.
