Here the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 motherboard (AMD Socket AM3+) is being unboxed together with the AMD FX 8350 CPU, and the Thermalright True Spirit 140BW heat sink and cooler.
I go over the procedure of inspecting the MoBo and other components, physically installing the CPU into the ZIF socket. A closer look on the 140BW heat sink is also presented.
The installation of the 140BW heat sink and fan is rather complicated, so this will be shown in the followup video #2.

These parts will be serving mainly as a virtualization host for GNS3,
Linux KVM, but it would run VMware ESXi 6.0 as well.
