After winning the grand finals of Pound 2019, a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament, Team Liquid’s Hungrybox was assaulted by a dead crab that a /probably/ angry fan threw at him. Hungrybox then took to twitter to clarify what had happened, since it was not easily visible in the video. Pound’s organizers stated that they will ban the person who threw the crab from any and all future tournaments, and that his name will be sent to other tournaments in hopes that they will be barred from entry, however they will not release the person’s name publically… for obvious reasons anyone would understand having spent any amount time on the internet. Hungrybox avoided being eliminated, and climbed his way through the loser’s bracket to claim victory in the grand finals. Congratulations on your victory, and good game to everyone involved… minus Mr. Crabs of course.
