You are a tiny mouse living in the sewers that likes to collect stuff.
The problem is that the other animals in the sewers tries to eat you, and the more you carry the slower you get. It does however not affect your jumping speed.
It is one of those old one-screen games that change the enemies and items per level, and it loops back to a slightly harder level 1 after level 9.
The game is one of those "just one more round" type of games, and suddenly you discover that the day is over.
It is a nice detail that you can see some floating garbage in the water.
