Hyper Light Drifter - The Dash Eternal Trophy (PS4 Gameplay)
So, I'm sure you're here looking for tips, more than the actual video itself. So, let's get right to it, then.
First: I would recommend turning the music off, but leaving the sound effects on. This way you can more clearly hear the sound of your dash, as this entire feat is based on your ability to time your button presses.
Second: Figure out which direction (clockwise/counter-clockwise) works best for you. When I first starting trying this, I naturally began going counter-clockwise. I also tried going clockwise, but for some reason my brain just didn't like that idea, and my movements of the left stick became sluggish and for me the chain dash was pretty much uncontrollable. Weird stuff, let me tell you. In any case, bottom line, find the direction that works for you.
Third: Do a little practising to find what the thresholds are for how slowly/quickly you can go between each dash before the chain stops. Once you know how slowly/quickly you can press the dash button, you will be better able to keep your timing of the button presses within the "sweet spot" to keep your chain going.
Lastly: Just plain ol' practise. Don't expect to get this your first time out. Just stick with it. Although, if you did, good on you.
That's all the advice I can think of. Good luck, and happy Dashing! :D
