"Hyperdrive" WIP weekend 7
0Another small update this week due to the busy Easter weekend. But here's a short video to show off the following updates:
Screen shake added - shakes when you collide with a wall and when the ship explodes.
Oh yeah - THE SHIP EXPLODES when you die and finally come to a rest. Look at those pieces fly!
I've also made the Game Over screen fade in which is just a "looks nicer that way" kind of thing. I think I'll try and figure out a way to fade to black between rooms too. I've got an idea how, but I ran out of time.
If you're paying attention you may notice that the speed of the tunnel increases at one hell of a speed... That's because I'm manually increasing it using keyboard shortcuts I introduced for debug purposes, just using it here to get on with showing you the screen-shake and explosion. This will be removed for the final game.
