If you're wondering why the video is mostly silent, it's because I didn't bother to hook up my good mic. This "silent deletion of comments" has been happening to me for a while now, so I'm hardly surprised by it any more. It happens with such regularity that I was able to just casually record YouTube doing it to me while I was watching Starwolfe play comp MWO on Twitch.
I asked the owner of the NGNGtv channel, Sean Lang, if he saw anything in his YT Creator Studio / Comments / Held For Review section. He said there's nothing there. So YT is deleting comments, and NOT EVEN TELLING THE CHANNEL OWNER that they deleted them!
I genuinely think that YT has moderation bots with ***ZERO HUMAN SUPERVISION*** deleting comments based on some AI "algorithm". And YouTube doesn't give 2.3% of a shit if the deletions are legit or not. Like I said, this has become a regular event for me. I post a top-level comment with perfectly relevant and not at all spammy content... and YT just silently deletes it.
