Last weekend crypto market crashed, most major coins in the crypto space dropped by around 10-20%, except for one.
In a timeframe of just a week, such coin had gone up by 500% in price. Mind you, this is not a small random coin, but a coin that was in the top 20 for a very long time, now it is floating at the top 10.
You guessed it, it's Dogecoin. It's a meme coin that is meant to be a joke.
It's something created just for fun. It doesn't have a solid usecase.
To put it bluntly, dogecoin is garbage. Any sophisticated investors would have stayed away from it. I obviously am one of them, I did my research and my portfolio consists of projects that I think have great use cases and huge potential.
That weekend, I lost about 20% of my portfolio. That's common in the crypto market, I can take that, but what pissed me off is, Dogecoin nearly doubled its price on that day.
This is so unfair. It doesn't make sense. How come something useless could go up in value by that much, whereas the real useful stuff didn't get the attention it deserved?
