Sleeping Gods is a Zelda Wind Waker style board game designed and created by Ryan Laukat where players take control of a crew as they set sail in search of the sleeping gods. Players will gain supplies, feed and rest their crew members as they face a range of challenges that affect their ship as well as quests as they explore the atlas which functions as the world map. Players will be traversing to different points of interest across the isles as they uncover stories, help unusual characters or engage against some tough foes in a very unique minion boss battle system.

The beauty of this game is that it is free roaming. Players are allowed to travel wherever they like exploring any islands or places of interest acquiring and completing quests as they go.

When fighting a boss or a minion, players will engage in an rpg role playing game style turn based combat where players will have to nullify a minions heart to vanquish it. Players will encounter a unique battle grid system that has players inflicting damage across multiple enemies before they can access the next area.

In this VLOG, I travel to a really cool part of Australia to escape the hustle and bustle of Covid and the city life to play a really cool board game. This video is simply some casual fun with some board games involved.
