I've recommended several 8-core parts in my day, but today, we settle the debate. What is the best gaming CPU: 5600X or 5800X? 11600k or 11700k? 3600 or 3700X

We test several 6 and 8 core parts along with the RTX 3080 and RX 5600 XT at 1080p and 1440p. After digging in deep, gamers have really only one decent choice.

We test 13 games: Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty Warzone, Doom Eternal, Hitman 3, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077, Gears 5, Rainbow Six Siege, Red Dead Redemption 2, Crysis Remastered, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Metro Exodus.
