Busy work: the game! A top-down maze game where the goal is to collect all 5 stars to complete the stage. The trouble is that collecting a star will reset you back at the start, and a good chunk of the levels place the stars in the same general area, meaning you're just retracing your steps with no added challenge. There's no lives and no score, so there's not even any risk involved, and some levels are outright repeated, changing only a few hazards. Mercifully, you can skip each stage by pressing N, which I do once I've shown how you reach all the stars.

It's got a charming atmosphere though, and its alleged Frogger influence shines strongly in the later worlds. Pal WanderingFellow first exposed to me this on a stream, and my first impression of it was it being a strange, abstract exploration game -- I wasn't paying full attention, so I assumed the stars were meant to warp you places, and the wrong ones sent you to the start. The truth is either less interesting or more vexing. I'd wager the playthrough would be three or four times as long if I got every single star and had to retrace my steps.
