A short and sweet little 2D platformer, taking cues from Bomberman Hero by dropping the character into a 2D platforming environment, with emphasis on throwing bombs to trigger switches, ignite chain reactions, or just blast enemies, natch. Thrown bombs have a satisfying arc to them, even if it is a bit fussy to aim where you want in the cramped environments. It took until the final battle for me to realise that bombs laid with the S key are Remote Bombs, and detonated with right-click.

Bomberman has a rather wonky walking animation that seems to get him caught on the scenery, requiring jumping to get him loose. You can only have one bomb on-screen at a time, but that means it plays by Mega Man rules -- the closer you are, the faster you can throw another and do more damage! If you want to be cheatsy, holding right-click and S will just create a never-ending wall of explosions around Bomberman -- a Flame Barrier or Bakuen Cross Attack if you will.
