A game by Craig Tait, released December 2004. Download it here: https://kliktopia.org/details/meanie.html

One of the ol' maze games where you guide an object through using your mouse, perhaps best remembered nowadays as Flash screamers. Features 12 tricky levels which you must navigate carefully, touching circle stars to remove walls and open pathways. Touching a wall 3 times will restart the stage, and you can only continue twice, otherwise it's game over; it seems if you continue in stage 11 or 12, it puts you back at stage 10.
I used Xpadder on occasion to guide meanie with a D-Pad or control stick to give my hand a moment to rest.

The final level is particularly devilish, by intent and by accident. Two of the circle stars are rendered invisible because of the flashing "final level" text, a glitch in The Games Factory's code that fails to redraw objects when told to make an object in front of them invisible -- that's why I got lost and hoped there was invisible wall or something.
Even then, the passage that's opened leading to the final circle star is too small for meanie to get through... meaning you have to jerk the mouse fast so you can clip through the wall, another Clickteam quirk in regards to collision detection.
