ICDR 6 [Anodyne] - Taste my bristles!
0I'd never played Anodyne before, neither did I know much about it, so these are all my first impressions. While nothing mind-blowing, so far it's a decent Zelda-like game, feeling very much like Link's Awakening or Seasons/Ages to me. In this first play session I didn't learn much about the story. Perhaps it's saving it for some grand reveal later on, but either way I don't feel much sense of purpose because of this. Still, the world and the music give it a surreal feel that's interesting and unexpected that makes me want to find out what's really going on, so I'll probably play some more in the future.
