Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (or Ice Age 3) is a video game based on the movie with the same name. It was released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, and PC by Activision on June 30, 2009, 1 day before the movie's release. It is the sequel to the Ice Age 2 video game.

Most of the cast from the movie voiced the characters in the game, with the exceptions of Denis Leary, Simon Pegg, and Sean William Scott.

The game allows the player to take control of Manny, Sid, Diego, Scrat, Scratte, and Buck as you take on or run away from dangerous dinosaurs, roll an egg to safety, chase for your beloved acorn, and explore caves and jungles over fifteen levels. However, some characters are just for tiny parts in the game, like Manny and Diego. The main character in the game is Buck. There are eight mini-games to play either in single-player mode or with friends in multiplayer and get things from Fast Tony. In multiplayer mode, you can play as Mini-sloths and Baby Dinos. There are three different bosses in the game: Ankylosaurus, Chasmosaurus, and Rudy.

Scrat and Scratte have ended up in the jungle of the dino world. They have to work together to get out of the jungle and find the acorn that was eaten by pterosaurs. In the end, Scratte gets away with the acorn and leaves Scrat behind (All that effort for nothing eh, Scrat?).
