Tomato Adventure is an RPG video game developed by AlphaDream and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance on January 25, 2002 in Japan.

Players control DeMille through the Ketchup Kingdom while talking to people, entering places and collecting items. The object of the game is to save DeMille's girlfriend, Patharan, and the Ketchup Kingdom from King Abira by going through every village to obtain the missing parts of a robot that can give anyone access into the Gimmick Palace, a tower-like structure with a tomato on it. Instead of wandering endlessly inside places or entering battles randomly, Tomato Adventure displays enemies moving around on the screen while entering battles by bumping DeMille into them.

The story takes place in a land ruled by young characters, the Ketchup Kingdom which is also filled with devices like Jack-in-the-Boxes. The protagonist is a hare-like boy in blue clothing named DeMille who lives in a school bus with no wheels in a village on the outskirts of the Ketchup Kingdom called Cobore Village. DeMille is an outcast because he dislikes tomatoes. As a result, he and other kids in Kobora who dislike tomatoes are looked down upon as "Droppers", banished for heresy, and locked up in Cobore Village until they change their attitudes towards tomatoes. While watching television, DeMille sees that the main antagonist, King Abīra, is celebrating a holiday called Tomato Day, while showing his project he created called the Super Cara-Cooker, a laser-like gun that transforms people, places, and things into dolls, toys, and playgrounds. After DeMille's television set gets severely damaged, he visits his neighbor and friend Seremo and asks him if he could fix his television set. Seremo says he will and gives DeMille his first Gimmick, called the Gear Yo-Yo.

After Oops defeated, Demille goes to Hanzo Lab. In here, he is greeted by the second oldest brother of Hanzo named Hanzon (Well that is a simple naming among Hanzo brothers. First is Hanzo and now it's Hanzon...What's next?). When Demille shows Hanzon his gimmick, Hanzon suddenly has an idea judging from his shouting his catchphrase and creates two more gimmicks for both Demille and Alessa. Well that's that I guess and next stop is NampLagoon. It's funny how Demille must get blasted off by a big bottle object to the Rock Isle which is basically an island with one building and one attraction building here (This building is a hotel but with a prison theme. It's an unusual concept but not that I like staying there if it's real, nope). Since we don't have the ticket to enter the attraction, we will have to explore this Alcatraz Hotel first. There are 2 door from the counter area (The left only has up to 2nd floor while the right has up to 3rd or spelled as 3F). The 3rd floor has a room where the BBQ band practice a new album (Actually, the band is thinking of what song to make that is electrifying for the audience). There's not much to do in the recording room so the next area to explore is going back to the 1st floor where the counter is and go to the door on the left. When we go into the room on the 2nd floor from here, Demille sees Grikky and Brikky got chain struck by a single lightning. Turns out that the reason why that happened is because of a music box generating what they called "Electrifying" tune but sadly the duo fights over the tune's quality, prompting Demille to stand between them. The duo recognize Demille when he mentioned and the fight begin with the duo as tag team but lose instead of winning (Serve them right for kidnapping Demille's girlfriend, Pasaran for bad reason).

Now that Demille has the music box, the BBQ band has a new song idea after getting struck by the same lightning when Demille shows the box to them and one of the member gives Demille the ticket to the underwater attraction as thanks. With the ticket, Demille can now enter the Lagoon Station which is an underwater park where you can pay 10 Topar for shooting octopous as part of the attraction. Before we can go further, the mole with ninja garb appears to give Demille a hint. Turns out that the hint tells us how to gain access to Captain Garco's ship and even after the ship sunk for many years, Garco's ghost still roam and when Demille nearly reach the room with Disco Pearl....he suddenly fight us for the last time.

Note: The game has gone too easy because both characters are over leveled since the game is too generous with XP in each battle. One more thing....if you encounter same enemies with different color (Like the golden Seabass monster among the blue one that appear sometimes), try to defeat it before it can escape as it gives a burst of XP to the party after the battle cause I failed many times already
