This is NOT actually Alpha 1.1.2, it’s just Optifine 1.14 with custom settings, a resource pack, and a shader pack (also with custom settings). I put in the Minecraft version in the corner while editing as well as the classic hearts on the HUD (I was in creative mode lol).

As the video says, I was screwing around with the BSL Shader Pack, and I came across the idea of what Minecraft Alpha 1.1 would look like if it had those shaders. Obviously, Minecraft Alpha never had shaders. Shader Packs weren’t really a thing until Release 1.4-1.5. But theoretically, if Alpha DID have shaders (and it ran well and everything), this is what I believe it would look like.

I used Minecraft 1.14 (Optifine) for this cinematic. I found my Nostalgicraft Alpha resource pack buried in my old files, as well as custom settings I made a while back which makes the game look mostly like Alpha by itself. I also changed some settings here and there with the BSL Shaders which I downloaded a couple days prior.

Some notable features:
- Dynamic shadows, lighting, and everything in an HD shader pack
- Depth perception and motion blur
- Vibrant textures (like grass, leaves, and water)
- Classic sounds from 2010
- No smooth or colored lighting since that didn’t exist yet

There are many options you can choose from in the BSL shader settings. For example, you can change the color of daylight, ambient light, block light, and even color underwater. In that same setting, there's an option for "Vanilla water." If you set this to on, it will show the vanilla texture of water while still having the cool water effects like parallax and waves.

Without these options, I wouldn't have gotten the idea to make my first cinematic.

World Seed: 8427424275900984639 (Alpha 1.1)
In order to play this world, you will need to create a new world in Alpha 1.1, change the world seed using NBT Explorer, and delete all the chunk files. There are tutorials out there if you don't know how to do this, however, if this is too difficult I can just provide a download link to the world.
