If We Came From Monkeys, Why Are There Still Monkeys?

Some of these notions appear to be deeply ingrained in American culture, while others appear to have much deeper origins in Western historical tradition. They are frequently handed down from generation to generation outside of formal and informal educational establishments. One of the most commonly repeated on social media, despite its incredibly erroneous nature, is “If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?” Let’s talk about that.
