Ignis Fatuis makes very good use of particle effects to create a soothing or, to some, melancholic scene in my opinion.

Originally made for the Mac OS, work has been done by the same group to bring this simple yet beautiful screensaver over to Windows (useable via either OpenGL or DirectX).

Ran on an old laptop with these specs:
- Pentium M 740 1.73GHz w/ 533MHz FSB
- 2GB DDR2 SDRAM @ 533MHz
- ATI Mobility Radeon X700 Omega 4.8.442 @ 1280x800 32-bit colour
- 160GB Samsung HM160HC IDE HDD
- Windows XP Service Pack 3

Minimal CPU occupation, using less than 10% CPU power on the average on my laptop.

Recorded using FRAPS (Since 'Ignis Fatui' uses frame buffering, allowing FRAPS to capture it)
