Ok but now for the nitty gritty. How does this affect the channel? Well VODs (edited and less so) were already a thing recently. The only thing it really means is that you get this cool version of me to stare at! As far as YT-only videos go, sometimes I'll use it, other times I might not, but it won't fundamentally change anything about *me*. Same weirdo, same humor, same ability to randomly discover new bugs in games.
"Wait, I was just getting used to the cam, why the switch?" Because while I enjoy the camera and performing for it, I found it sapping my energy and causing a lot more mental health trouble than I expected once I started using it regularly. There's nothing to say I won't bust out the camera for special occasions now and then, but the vtuber allows me to have a representative form without the post-cam inner-burn I was feeling every stream.
