I'm Learning to Mix/Master in Ableton while LIVE! || EQ || Episode 3
0If you've been in my live stream on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/thelolmighty) or watched some VODs here on YouTube, you've heard me talk about this. This is me, learning the basics of various mixing and mastering components -- plugins/VSTs, parts of songs, etc -- while live on stream. It is long-form content of me watching tutorials, talking out loud to myself and chat, and solidifying and building a variety of concepts. Having recently been diagnosed with ADHD and autism, I have found the language to describe my learning as bottom-up. I need to ask a lot of straightforward and often simple questions in order to connect the web of understanding, and build from there. Once a foundation is laid, I typically have a very strong understanding of it.
When watching others' content, I do comment on it and attempt to make it transformative, but I want to be sure these creators are recognized for the hard work they've put into their videos. My hope is to do this without any editing, but I always put both the link to the creator's page /and/ the video I am watching in the Live Twitch chat, and they will also be available below this description.
