Immersive Engineering Tutorial #5 - Excavator and Mineral Deposits (MC 1.7.10)
First take a core sample to find a mineral deposit. Then build an Excavator to automatically mine it. Finally, transport your items with Conveyor Belts. In this video I will go through the mentioned steps. But be prepared with a good power source!
Due to the power requirements, you should probably not mine every deposit you can find. Or at least not all of them at the same time. The Quarzite deposit demonstrated in this video is one of the better ones since Nether Quartz doesn't exist in the normal world (and Certus Quartz is hard to find in large quantities).
