Improv, D&D, Brennan's Bolo Character, and How You Can Improve Your Roleplaying
64I believe Whose Line Is It Anyway? paved the way for D&D 5e's popularity boom. It's not about war gaming anymore.
Here's a quick improv exercise you can use: have two people talk about a third character who will be entering the scene. Give the third person characteristics to use when they enter as their character. The exercise is called Here Comes Charlie, and my video includes a fine example from Critical Role's Exandria Unlimited: Calamity premiere.
