In Search Of Answers - Destiny 2: Shadowkeep - Ep. 3 - Investigating With Bullets
Welcome to Mythkiller Productions! As always I will be your host, SiriMythkiller, and today I will push forward in the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep storyline by doing some work for Eris Morn.
But first, I ran to the Tower to complete my Finisher Move mission for Banshee. He sent me on to Zavala, who wanted me to run the new Nightfall: The Ordeal, but we will get to that at a later date. I grabbed a few more bounties from various people then headed back to the Moon to speak with Eris.
She didn’t know exactly what was causing these spectral figures to appear or why they followed particular people. She also didn’t know anything about the object the Nightmare of Crota had dropped. So while she studied it, she sent me out to determine the connection between the Pyramid and the Hive. After I picked up my pre-order and deluxe rewards, I sauntered off towards the Scarlet Keep.
In Sorrow’s Harbor, I needed to collect Phantasmal Particles from high ranking Nightmares. This area seemed to have a constant “event” active where Nightmares would spawn in different places, each with a chest containing glimmer and planet materials. Solo, at base 750 Power, the ogres are very difficult to defeat. However, through group effort, I managed to take down enough to secure the particles.
After I got enough particles, I found a high spot to contact Eris from. During our exchange, we heard a hauntingly familiar scream from Destiny 1. After killing a final Nightmare, I headed back to Eris.
Sure enough, a Nightmare of Omnigul had attacked the camp and left another spectre in her wake. The Essence I recovered from Nightmare Crota somehow protected Eris. She believed it was the key to finding a way inside the Pyramid. But first it would have to be cleansed, which I will take care of next time!
