ISKCON Temple's Mid-Day Meal | Palwal
ISKCON is feeding approx 51000 children across 435 schools. The mid-day meal is completely a green-field project built from the ground. They cook around 20,000 kg of meals every day. This particular set-up called ISKCON Food Relief Kitchen in Palwal also gives employment to around 120 villagers who are serving in the kitchen day and night. Food is cooked in two shifts as schools are in two shifts -- morning and evening. So around 10 schools are catered in the evening and around 425 schools are catered in the morning.
