Enemies in the first section consist of Octopus Batteries (square things that move side to side/up and down) and Screw Bombers (flat dealie-bops that shoot when you get close).
After a few screens of that, you drop down into a tube that fills with water, increasing your momentum. Pengs (propeller-faced penguins) will come at you at first, followed by Killer Bullet (bullets that explode when shot at).

Pattern: They come out one at a time, moving in a slow clockwise pattern while shooting at you. Take out the first 3 with your default gun, as they move slow enough, but will increase in speed with each one that you destroy. Use Super Arm on the last 4 to take them out with one hit a piece.
