東方鬼葬剣 ~ Infinite Blade Pavilion - Lunatic No Bomb (YoumuA)
I never thought I'd be getting this, but here we are. (No, Kirby fans, I don't mean the phrase like that.)
This should be the ultimate proof that YoumuA is broken beyond belief, when a Hard player got an LNB with it. Well, there's also the fact that there was quite some lag, but I don't wanna talk about it, I already get enough impostor syndrome from that...
Most of this was done with almost no practice. The only things I learned myself was how to do the Magura final speedkill. Which is also why I superdied to her, since you want to keep level 5 for it. Other stuff such as how to route Sekito 1st spell and the hilarious hitboxes on Kikyou opener, I learned from watching Jaimers's LNBNC video.

This is hopefully the last IBP video I'll upload. Probably.
The reason being... THIS GAME ACTUALLY FUCKING BLOWS, HOLY SHIT!
This game has such great writing, music and characters, but why does it have to be tied to some of the worst gameplay I've seen in a Touhou game, official and fanmade alike?!
Visibility is garbage as hell, for example, to the point where I turn background opacity down and effects off not just because they lag, but also because doing so helps with visibility! There is just so much wrong in that sentence alone already.
And then you have the difficulties being pretty boring in comparison to Lunatic. All the difficulties below Lunatic feel like an afterthought, seriously, go back to Normal or Hard, they feel like they have nothing compared to Lunatic. It feels like Len decided to make Lunatic first and then did whatever with the lower difficulties. That even translates to the leaf items, since the multipliers are different across each difficulty. At max tension, you'll get 5 times the regular amount of leaf items on Lunatic, on Normal you get about 60% of that. Combine that with there being almost no bullets on Normal to graze, this makes Lunatic the only difficulty worth scoring. Not to mention MarisaB being the only good shot for scoring either. So not even scoring is that good when only one shot on one difficulty is any good.
The stages are also abhorrent unfun trash. Stage 5 and Extra are ok, but the rest is just unacceptable. The worst offender has to be stage 3, with those fairies after Snow Cordie COMING FROM THE BOTTOM CORNERS WITH ZERO WARNING, WHEN HALF OF THE OTHER FAIRIES IN THIS GODDAMN STAGE ARE PROPERLY TELEGRAPHED. WHY??? In RSS, there were fairies in stage 4 that came from the bottom of the screen, but those made sense since they had no collision. Sure! But why would you do THIS? I get that this game is route-heavy, but at least if you're gonna do this shit, BE CONSISTENT. This game lacks any sort of proper player communication.
Oh and also not to mention this game loves having enemies behind you when only 2 or 3 shots can hit behind them.
The worst offender has to be the attack indicators. Sekito's 1st spell on Lunatic is probably the worst of all. On Hard and below, it's just one line, and, yeah, that makes sense! Here, however, look at how it looks like now. An oscillating area that makes you think the whole place will be affected. So what would the typical player think? Why, to get out of there, of course. And what happens if you do that? YOU GET PUNISHED BY THE FIREBALLS GOING OUT AND DIE. FUCK. YOU. Sapphire Panlogism had a similar spell (Nusakoro's 4th spell) where you had to get inside an area, and well, players won't know that too, however, for the first two waves, the arrowhead lanes are less dense, so you can blunder through the first one, and instantly know what to do. It's properly communicated! You may die, but at least it made sense! Also not to mention that spell didn't have an oscillating warning, either. So yeah, fuck you, IBP.
Other awful indicators are on Magura's stage 4 midspell.
And especially Shuuu's penultimate spell. I lost my first LNB attempt because I COULDN'T FUCKING SEE WHERE THE ATTACK WAS GOING TO BE AND I DIED. Why does the graphic take like 3 seconds to fully appear, when I can only see in the last 0.5 where it actually is, because it blends with the other ones??? Fuck off.
So yeah. FUCK this game. I'm glad I can get this off my chest because I hate this game so much and I'm tired of hearing so much undeserved praise about it.
At least it has other positives like full practice options (except Youmu still starts scene practice at level 4, lol), and I guess chaining item collections in stages is cool. Too bad the stages themselves are still awful trash.
I would rather fucking play HSoB's stages over these. YES, I SAID IT.
